Canada Publishes Updated Draft State of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Report

On July 13, 2024, the Health Canada seeking comments on "Updated draft state of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) report" by September 11, 2024. This document specifies uses of PFAS in cosmetics and food packaging; exposure of PFAS in retail foods, aqueous film forming foams, drinking water, indoor air and dust and in waste managements area; physical and environmental factors; human biomonitoring; ecotoxicity; health hazards and domestic and international actions on PFAS.

This document includes the public comments of draft report published in May 2023.
