Kyrgyzstan has expanded the list of forbidden venues for smoking tobacco and nicotine, including the use of water pipes, heating tobacco systems, and electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), according to Law No. 61 of the Kyrgyz Republic of February 28, 2024. It prohibits smoking in public places, with the exception of those specially designated for smoking. Individuals caught smoking in undesignated areas now face a fine of 30 calculated indices instead of 10.
