Regulations aimed at protecting children from exposure to substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction (CMR) in childcare articles are scheduled for adoption by the European Commission in the fourth quarter of 2024. This initiative aims to mitigate potential health risks associated with CMR substances present in products designed for children's sleep, relaxation, hygiene, feeding, or sucking. These products fall under the category of single-market regulations. Currently, the Act is in the preparation stage.
