On 12 May 2026, European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) hosted an online webinar titled “IUCLID 6: Major Release Version 10” to introduce the latest updates in IUCLID 6 Version 10, which was officially released on 27 April 2026. The webinar focused on helping regulatory authorities, industry users, consultants, and other stakeholders understand the practical implications of the new release and prepare for upcoming changes. Key topics included modifications to the IUCLID format, updates to the OECD Harmonised Templates and EU test guidelines, improvements to the user interface, and new functionalities designed to enhance data management and regulatory submissions. Version 10 also introduces targeted format updates for several regulatory frameworks, including REACH microplastics reporting, the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), the Drinking Water Directive (DWD), the Toy Safety Regulation (TSR), and EFSA-related applications. Additional enhancements aim to improve usability, navigation, data entry, and reporting efficiency. ECHA highlighted that supporting tools and cloud services would be updated to ensure compatibility with the new format. The webinar provided participants with guidance on adapting workflows and preparing dossiers for the updated IUCLID environment
