The drug supervision and administration departments in China have implemented decisions and arrangements to strengthen drug safety, promote consolidation and improvement, and work with public security organs to crack down on illegal and criminal acts in the cosmetics industry.
Four typical cases of cosmetics have been reported for providing false information for cosmetics filing.
1) "9.15" case of production and sale of counterfeit cosmetics in Changzhou, Jiangsu,
2) "Guangxi Yulin Qianzhi Materia Medica Cosmetics Co., Ltd. using prohibited raw materials to produce cosmetics,
3) "Zhejiang Ningbo Plandi Tourism Products Co., Ltd. failing to organize the production of cosmetics in accordance with production quality management standards," and
4) "Beijing Hanfang Yongbao Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
