EU: Public comments sought on SCCS opinion on Salicylic Acid

Public comments are being sought on recently published scientific opinion by SCCS on safety of salicylic acid in cosmetic products whereby the committee agrees that the use of salicylic acid as a preservative up to a maximum concentration of 0.5% is safe in either oral or dermal products. Last date to submit comments is February 17, 2023.
