State Food and Drug Administration Detects Prohibited Raw Materials in 17 Batches of Cosmetics

In 2023, 17 batches of cosmetics, including Shandong Yifangmei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Sain Cosmetics Co., Ltd., were found to be prohibited raw materials. The State Food and Drug Administration requires the Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration to file a case for investigation, order risk control measures, and conduct self-inspection and rectification. Drug regulatory departments must order cosmetics operators to stop operating these products, investigate purchase records, and trace illegal sources.
