Brazil establishes phytosanitary requirements for the importation of Chili and Pepper seeds (Capsicum annuum) of any origin. 
The ordinance states that the seeds must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate, issued by the National Plant Protection Organizations with some declarations like "The consignment is free from Pepper chat fruit viroid, Potato spindle tuber viroid, Tomato brown rugose fruit virus and Tomato ringspot virus, Tobacco rattle virus and Tomato bushy stunt virus according to the result of the official analysis of laboratory No. ( )". This ordinance also provides time frame for list of countries as 360 days to adapt this procedure. This ordinance doesn’t apply to MERCOUSER countries, for more details refer the document.
