Brazil establishes the phytosanitary requirements for the importation of Chili and Pepper seeds

The ORDINANCE SDA NO. 717 establishes  the  phytosanitary  requirements  for  the  importation of  Chili  and  Pepper  seeds  (Capsicum  annuum)  from  any  origin,  with  the  exception  of MERCOSUR Article 1. The phytosanitary requirements are established for the importation of seeds (Category 4) of sweet pepper and pepper (Capsicum annuum), from any origin, except for MERCOSUR countries.
Article 2. The seeds must be packed in first-use packaging and free of soil.

Article 3. The seeds must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate, issued by the National Phytosanitary Protection Organization - ONPF of the country of origin..
