The Food and Drug Administration Announces Measures Taken to Ensure the Safety of Seafood Imports

Activities for the Safety of Imported Seafood was published by the FDA.  The report details the FDA's all-encompassing strategy for guaranteeing that U.S. consumers' access to safe imported seafood fulfills all applicable regulations and is up to par with domestically produced seafood. ||

This study follows the FDA's Import Strategy to ensure the safety of food from other countries.  Specifically, it details a four-pronged strategy for ensuring the safety of food that has been imported: ||
