On 23 March 2026 Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) announced that the following chemical has been added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals five years after the issue of its assessment certificate: A. CAS Number: 133222-51-2 B. Chemical Name: 2-Butenedioic acid (2Z)-, polymer with 2-methoxyethene, calcium zinc salt C. Molecular Formula: (C₄H₄O₄·C₃H₆O)ₓ·xCa·xZn a. Listing Date: 18 March 2026 Important Obligation: Specific information requirements apply to this chemical. Importers and manufacturers must notify AICIS within 28 days if the circumstances of their importation or manufacture (introduction) differ from those described in the original assessment.
