The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) has issued a circular reinforcing mandatory post-marketing surveillance requirements for controlled medicinal products, in alignment with Drug Testing Regulations No. (40) of 2024. The circular mandates that companies submit all required analysis documentation to the Drug Control Laboratory within one month of receiving the request. Failure to comply will result in the immediate suspension of batch distribution until laboratory testing is completed and results are approved. This directive underscores JFDA’s commitment to ensuring that only safe, effective, and fully compliant products reach the market. To maintain uninterrupted distribution, companies must adhere to the following obligations:

  • Timely submission of analysis requirements for controlled products
  • Mandatory batch testing and approval prior to distribution
  • Strict compliance with JFDA’s technical and regulatory standards

This mandate strengthens Jordan’s post-marketing surveillance framework and reinforces the critical role of timely regulatory compliance in safeguarding public health.
