To cancel an ARTG entry, sponsors must submit a request via the TGA Business Services (TBS) portal or a paper-based form. For online submissions, log into TBS with a “submitter” role (agents cannot submit cancellations), select the ARTG cancellation option, accept the conditions, choose the relevant entries, and submit—these are typically processed within 5 business days.

Alternatively, sponsors can complete and send a paper form (PDF/Word), which is processed within 10 business days;

- however, it must reach TGA before 5:00 pm on 30 June to avoid annual charges for the next financial year.   
    Entries not cancelled by this deadline will incur charges unless they qualify for an exemption (with zero turnover).
- Once processed, cancellations are officially published by the TGA in line with the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
