"On April 25, 2025, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China announced the results of the first batch of new use environmental management registration approvals for 2025. In accordance with the Measures for the Registration of Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (Order No. 12 of the Ministry) and the Regulations on Open Government Information (Order No. 711 of the State Council), approvals were granted to applications submitted by Sanyo Chemical (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. and ENEOS Corporation (via agent Hangzhou Ruiou Technology Co., Ltd.). The approved substances and their details are as follows:
1. Branched alkyl benzene sulfonate dialkyl imidazole salt New Use: Antistatic agent for resins Environmental Risk Control Measures: Proper disposal of waste gas and solid waste containing the substance during processing and use, in accordance with national and local pollution control standards.
2.Metal salts of dialkyl phosphates New Use: Additives for gas engine oil lubrication Environmental Risk Control Measures: Proper disposal of solid waste containing the substance during the oil filling process, in compliance with relevant pollution control regulations."
