"On April 1, 2025, The UK government updated the guidance that provides an online service for businesses in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) to comply with UK REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations by adding contact details for the UK REACH IT support mailbox. This service allows users to: * Submit new chemical registrations * Notify imports of EU REACH-registered substances using a Downstream User Import Notification (DUIN) * Transfer assets (e.g., registrations) to another legal entity * Submit Northern Ireland notifications * Manage joint registrations, including claiming lead registrant roles and approving group members * Handle PPORD (Product and Process Orientated Research and Development) notifications * To use the service, businesses must have both a Government Gateway account and a Defra account. Users must log in at least once every three years to maintain account access. * Submissions must be in i6z dossier format, created with IUCLID 6 or later.
