On March 18, 2025, the World Trade Organization (WTO) circulated Thailand's Draft Notification regarding the amendments to the list of hazardous substances under the Hazardous Substances Act. The draft notification proposes revisions to the list annexed to the Ministry of Industry’s Notification on the List of Hazardous Substances B.E. 2556 (2013) and its latest amendment B.E. 2565 (2022). 
The key changes are as follows:
-Removal of Hazardous Substance Controls (2 entries)
-Revision of Control Measures (17 entries)
-Addition of New Hazardous Substance Controls (2 entries)

Hexachlorobutadiene
Hydrogen Peroxide (Condition: In household or public health products used for washing white clothes, killing germs, cleaning floors, walls, sanitary ware, and other materials)
Chlorine and Chlorine-Releasing Substances (Condition: In household or public health products used for washing white clothes, killing germs, cleaning floors, walls, sanitary ware, and other materials or solving blockages of pipes or sewage outlets)
Sodium Cyanide (Condition: Except in the part under the responsibility of the Food and Drug Administration)
Propionitrile (Propionitrile) or Ethyl Cyanide (Ethyl Cyanide)
Potassium Cyanide (Condition: Except in the part under the responsibility of the Food and Drug Administration)
