Mexim Australia Pty Ltd has recalled its Mughlai Paratha 400g pack due to the presence of an undeclared egg allergen. The affected product was distributed nationally through independent food retailers across Australia. The recall applies to 400g packs with all best before dates up to and including 31 March 2025. The issue arose because egg was used as an ingredient but not declared on the label, posing a risk to individuals with egg allergies or intolerance. FSANZ advises consumers with an egg allergy not to consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. The recall was officially issued on 18 June 2025 and will remain active until the matter is resolved.
